New Trailblazer and new Tracker from GM. Is it worth getting our hopes up for a real offroader?

nah... more CUVs. But the Bison still looks cool - shocks, lockers and a snorkel !

If a transverse engine, FWD crossover is considered a real off roader these days, get your hopes up.

The Trailblazer is sold as a Colorado based BOF SUV already.

Tracker has already been leaked, and is about exciting as you’d expect. The Tracker was what they called the Trax in other markets, but now apparently it’s a separate vehicle again now and is not the next- gen Trax.
As for the Trailblazer, I had moderate hopes considering the current Trailblazer is a Colorado based body on frame SUV, but looking at the mules.... well, it looks the exact same as a Blazer.

GM’s appreciation for and care factor of the ‘ unique’ demands of the US automotive market are demonstrated entirely by their choice of launch location.
GM shareholders on the other hand will applaud wildly.

Tracker seems already confirmed as a meh replacement for the meh Trax.
Trailblazer is the one that interests me. You’d think it would be difficult to slide yet another size of CUV into the current range... which leads me to hope there’s more to it.

Pft, no. And given Chevy's current styling direction, they'll both be hideous.

Sadly , probably not, which is a shame because over at FCA, they’re keeping the whole conglomerate afloat selling proper offroad SUVs to people who won't ever drive offroad.

True, here's hoping it's a new BOF replacement

The current Colorado/Trailblazer is a little long in the tooth isn’t it? Maybe it is the new one with the Blazers design language

Also, definitely disappointed that the new subcompact doesn’t look like this
